Dhaka Bureau: The second session of the ongoing 12th Parliament is starting today, Thursday, May 2, at 5 p.m. President Md. Sahabuddin convened this session on April 15 with constitutional powers.
It is said that this second session, which will be held before the first budget session of the current government and the twelfth parliament in June, will not be very long.
Before the beginning of the session, there will be a meeting of the working advisory committee of the parliament in the parliament building. This will be the first meeting of the working advisory committee of the current parliament. The agenda and minutes of the meeting will be discussed in addition to fixing the duration of the upcoming session.

Awami League Member of Parliament of Jhenaidah-1 Constituency Abdul Hai passed away and will discuss the condolence proposal brought on him according to custom. The session will be adjourned after the condolence motion is accepted.
On the death of a sitting Member of Parliament, it is customary to adjourn the session in his honor after discussing the condolence motion in Parliament.
