Dhaka Bureau: The new price of liquefied natural gas (LPG) at the consumer level will be announced on Thursday (May 2). On this day, the new price of LPG will be announced for the month of May.

It is said that according to the Saudi CP announced by Saudi Aramco for the month of May (2024), the instructions of the Bangladesh Energy Regulatory Commission will be announced on Thursday at 2.30 pm regarding the price adjustment of private LPG at the consumer level for this month.
After increasing for 8 consecutive months, the price of LPG was reduced at the consumer level on April 3. Compared to the month of March, the price of a 12 kg cylinder was reduced by 40 taka to 1 thousand 442 taka in April. Besides, the price of a 12 kg cylinder increased by 8 taka to 1 thousand 482 taka in March, 41 taka increased to 1 thousand 474 taka in February, and 29 taka increased to 1 thousand 433 taka in January.
