Dhaka Bureau: The second session of the 12th National Parliament begins tomorrow at 5 p.m. President Md. Sahabuddin convened this session on April 15 with constitutional powers. Before the beginning of the session, there will be a meeting of the working advisory committee of the parliament in the parliament building. This will be the first meeting of the working advisory committee of the current parliament. The agenda and minutes of the meeting will be discussed in addition to fixing the duration of the upcoming session.
Speaker at the beginning of tomorrow’s session. Shirin Sharmin Chowdhury will nominate the presidium. Then the condolence proposal will be raised. Awami League Member of Parliament of Jhenaidah-1 Constituency Abdul Hai passed away; as per custom, the condolence proposal brought on him will be discussed. The session will be adjourned after the condolence motion is accepted. On the death of a sitting Member of Parliament, it is customary to adjourn the session in his honor after discussion on the condolence motion in Parliament.
According to sources in the Parliament Secretariat, this second session, which will be held before the first budget session of the present government and the twelfth Parliament in June, will not be so long.
