Dhaka Bureau: The Nobel laureate was sentenced to six months in the case filed by the Department of Inspection of Factories and Institutions for violating labor laws. Yunus is scheduled to appear before the Labor Appellate Tribunal today to apply for permanent bail.
Tuesday morning (April 16), he appeared in the Labor Appeal Tribunal and confirmed that he would ask for permanent bail. Yunus’ lawyer is Barrister Abdullah Al Mamun.
