Dr. Yunus will go to the Labor Appeal Tribunal today

Dhaka Bureau: The Nobel laureate was sentenced to six months in the case filed by the Department of Inspection of Factories and Institutions for violating labor laws. Yunus is scheduled to appear before the Labor Appellate Tribunal today to apply for permanent bail.

Tuesday morning (April 16), he appeared in the Labor Appeal Tribunal and confirmed that he would ask for permanent bail. Yunus’ lawyer is Barrister Abdullah Al Mamun.

He said, “Today around 10 o’clock, Dr. Yunus will appear in court. We will be with him. He will seek permanent bail. Dr. against the sentence. Yunus’s appeal will be heard in the Labor Appeal Tribunal.

On January 28, Nobel-winning economist Dr. The Labor Appellate Tribunal granted bail to four people, including Muhammad Yunus. At the same time, the court accepted the appeal for hearing. The Labor Appellate Tribunal suspended the sentence given by the Labor Court that day.

Earlier, the Nobel laureate sought bail in the Labor Appellate Tribunal. Along with this, the economist also filed an appeal seeking acquittal against the six-month sentence in the labor law violation case.
