Own Correspondent: The holy Eid-ul-Fitr will be celebrated in hundreds of villages in Chittagong district tomorrow, Wednesday (April 10). Followers of Mirzakhil Darbar Sharif of Satkania Upazila celebrate Eid following the Hanafi Madhab. Depending on the sighting of the moon in any country, they have been observing Eid-ul-Fitr, Eid-ul-Azha, and all the rituals related to the lunar month in this way for about two hundred years.
According to Darbar sources, the main Eid congregation will be held at the Khanqah ground of Mirzakheel Darbar Sharif tomorrow at 8 a.m. on Wednesday. Following in the footsteps of Hazrat Shah Jahangir Sheikhul Arefin (a), Hazrat Shah Jahangir Fakhrul Arefin (a), and Hazrat Shah Jahangir Shamsul Arefin (a), the present Sajjadanshin, under the supervision of Hazrat Shah Jahangir Tajul Arefin (a), is his successor, Hazrat Imamul Dr. Arefin. Maulana Muhammad Maqchudur Rahman will lead the Eid prayers.
According to the Mirzakhil Darbar Sharif Sutra, Mirzakhil of Satkaniya, Gatiadenga of Eochia, Alinagar, Madarsha, Khagria, Meishamura, Puranagarh, Bajalia, Monyabad, Charati, Suipura, Haluaghona, Kanchannagar of Chandnaish, Harala, Bainjuri, Charbarma, Keshua, Kanai Madari, Satbaria, Bor call, Dohazari, Jamirjuri, Kalipur in Banskhali, Chambal, Dongra, Shekerkhil, Chanua, Puichhari, Barumchhara in Anwar, Oilardwip, Barkhain, Khaskama, Kathakhali, Raipur, Gujra, Puntibila in Lohagara, Kalauzhan, Mahmudabad in Chunati and Sitakunda, Bariyadhala, Banshbaria, Eid in hundreds of villages including Salimpur The followers of the court will celebrate.
