Narayanganj Correspondent: Police arrested a drug dealer with 900 pieces of Yaba tablets in Arai Hazar of Narayanganj. A drug dealer named Shahparan (25) was arrested from Baluakandi area on Sunday (November 20) night. Shahparan is the son of Fajr Ali of Bishnandi village (West Para).
Under the leadership of Azizul Haque Howladar, OC of Araihazar police station, a special anti-narcotics operation was conducted in the police station area and 900 pieces of Yaba tablets were arrested from Baluakandi of Araihazar police station.
OC Azizul Haque Hawladar said that Yasin (32), son of Danis Mia of Karitla village of Araihajar upazila, is the accomplice of the arrested drug dealer Shahparan. He sensed our presence and managed to escape. The operation to arrest him is continuing. A case has been filed under the Narcotics Control Act at Araihajar police station and an investigation has been arranged.
