On January 18, OC Syed Mizanur Islam of Joydevpur police station was arrested along with college students from a resort in Gazipur. On February 23, arbitration was held at the house of a political leader in Manikganj city. However, in the arbitration, it was decided that Mizan should rent a house in Manikganj for the second wife and bear all the maintenance. Soon after this, Mizan continued to threaten his second wife.
In this regard, Jharna Akhter said he went there and saw OC Mizan, his first wife and brother-in-law, sitting.
