The speaker went to Geneva to attend the international conference

Dhaka Bureau: Speaker of the Bangladesh National Parliament, Dr. MP Shirin Sharmin Chowdhury, left Dhaka for Switzerland on Thursday (March 21) at 3 a.m. with a parliamentary delegation.

As members of the parliamentary delegation to participate in the conference, the Chief Whip of Jatiya Sangsad Noor-e-Alam Chowdhury MP, Shafiqul Islam MP, Mahbub ur Rahman MP, Shahadara Mannan MP, Nilufar Anjum MP, HM Badiuzzaman MP, Md. Mujibul Haque MP, and Akhtaruzzaman MP have left Dhaka.

Parliament Secretariat Senior Secretary KM Abdus Salam, Additional Secretary M. A Kamal Billah, Joint Secretary Enamul Haque, Joint Secretary Md. Nazmul Haque, Deputy Secretary. Wares Hossain, and Deputy Secretary. Jasim Uddin have left Dhaka for Switzerland. The speaker’s spouse, Syed Ishtiaq Hossain, accompanied the speaker at his own expense.

Note that after the visit to Switzerland, the Speaker will return to the country on March 29, 2024, along with the parliamentary delegation and his traveling companions.
