Dhaka Bureau: The moon of the holy month of Ramadan has been seen in the skies of the country. As a result, the month of Ramadan will start tomorrow, Tuesday, March 12.

On Monday (March 11) evening, the moon of Ramadan was seen in the sky in different parts of the country, including Chittagong.

At the end of the meeting of the National Moon Sighting Committee in the meeting room of the Islamic Foundation in Baitul Mukarram, the Minister of Religion and the President of the National Moon Sighting Committee said Faridul Haque Khan informed them of this information.

He said that the moon of the month of Ramadan has been seen in the sky of the country. Fasting will start on Tuesday. Taraweeh prayers should be offered this evening, and Sehri should be eaten on the last night.

An Arabic month is either 29 or 30 days long, depending on the calendar. The beginning or end of the month depends on the sighting of the moon.
