Dhaka Bureau: In line with the international market, the government reduced the price of fuel oil in the first month of the automatic price adjustment every month.
The Ministry of Power, Energy, and Mineral Resources issued a notification on Thursday (March 7) resetting the price of fuel oil. This rate will be effective on Friday, March 8.
The price of diesel and kerosene per liter has been reduced from Tk 109 to Tk 108 25 paise. The price of petrol has been reduced from Tk 125 to Tk 122. And the price of octane has been reduced from Tk 130 to Tk 126. That is, the price of diesel and kerosene is 75 paise per liter; petrol has been reduced by Rs 3 and octane by Rs 4.
According to the decision dated August 30, 2022, until now, diesel and kerosene were being sold at Tk 109, petrol at Tk 125, and octane at Tk 130 per liter at the consumer level.
