City Reporter: The ‘Joy Bangla Concert’ is going to be held in Chittagong to commemorate the historical speech of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman on March 7. The Chittagong District Administration and Chittagong Metropolitan Police have already completed all preparations for this event. The concert will be held on Thursday (March 7) at the MA Aziz Stadium in Chittagong.
In this concert, various popular bands from Dhaka and Chittagong, including Artsel, Nemesis, and Chirkut, will perform music. Besides, popular artists will also sing at the concert. Young Bangla, the youth platform of the Bangladesh Awami League’s Center for Research and Information (CRI), has been organizing this concert at Dhaka’s Army Stadium since 2015. Due to the Corona epidemic, there were no concerts in 2021 and 2022. This concert has been organized for the first time at MA Aziz Stadium in Chittagong.
Minister of State for Power, Energy, and Mineral Resources Nasrul Hamid visited the venue of the MA Aziz Stadium in the city on Wednesday afternoon to see the preparations for the Joy Bangla concert and the trustee of CRI, the organization organizing the concert.
At this time, he told the journalists that this concert would help inspire the young society of Chittagong in the spirit of freedom.
