Tangail representative: We are working on improving the quality of education, the syllabus, and the curriculum. More than 10,000 teachers will be appointed in the next three months. State Minister of Primary and Mass Education Ministry Rumana Ali said that the vacancy of teachers will be filled.
He said these things in response to questions from journalists before the inauguration of a two-day international conference on ‘Building Smart Bangladesh through Sustainable Development’ using science and technology, organized by the research cell of Maulana Bhasani University of Science and Technology, Tangail, on Tuesday (March 5).

State Minister Rumana Ali also said that we are working on education policy. We need smart policies to build a smart Bangladesh. A smart curriculum is needed to produce smart children who will become future citizens. We are also working on information technology. We are taking many steps. In the future, you will be able to see the results of these.
Regarding the new education policy, he said, When something new comes, there are many pros and cons, and there is a lot of discussion. We are afraid to accept something new. We think that if we can convince the people, if you help us, surely we will be able to take the education policy to a complete place. I don’t trust word of mouth much. I want to show what I can do.
