Gopalganj Correspondent: A 10-year-old madrasa student of the fourth class in Kashiani of Gopalganj was accused of rape. Police arrested a madrasa teacher named Helal Uddin Al Azad, alias Helal Khan (30).
The teacher was arrested on Monday (March 4) after the victim’s mother filed a case.
Kashiani Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Zillur Rahman confirmed the arrest on Monday night.
Arrested madrasa teacher. Helal Uddin Al Azad, aka Helal Khan, is from Maitmukra village in Boalmari police station in Faridpur district. Son of Turap Ali Khan. However, he has been living in Bagjhapa village under the Kashiani police station in Gopalganj district for a long time.
Kashiani Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Zillur Rahman said Helal Khan was running Hazrat Halimatuz Chadia Muhammadiya Mahila Madrasa (unauthorized) in the Bagzhapa area of Kashiani Upazila for some time. Helal raped the student several times in his restroom under various temptations. On February 10, at around 12:30 p.m., Fayekuzzaman and Mosa. This child was raped with the help of Khadija Begum. In this incident, the mother of the child who was tortured on Sunday has filed a case under the Prevention of Torture against Women and Children Act. Based on the case, the accused teacher has been arrested and handed over to the court.
He also said that two other accused in the incident are absconding. An operation is underway to quickly arrest them.
