Own Correspondent: Bahar Uddin (30), a motorcycle rider, died after being hit by a speeding car in the Satkania area on the Chittagong-Cox’s Bazar highway.
The accident took place in the Mithadighi area of Chadaha Union of Satkania Upazila at 6 a.m. on Wednesday, February 14. The deceased motorcyclist is the son of Altaf Mia of Chibbari village in the Sadar Union of Satkaniya and the cousin of Member of Parliament (Chittagong-15) Abdul Motaleb, CIP.
He was going from Padua in Lohagara Upazila to Chittagong city-bound Keranihat on a motorcycle for business work. He died on the spot after being hit by a speeding car.
In this regard, Dohazari Highway police said that after the incident, the body was recovered and handed over to the relatives. However, it was not found that he lost his life due to the impact of the car.
Efforts are underway to trace the vehicle.
