Suriya made his debut in the movie world with the movie ‘Nerukku Neer’. I couldn’t do much in the beginning. Suriya met Jyotika for the first time during the shooting of the movie ‘Puvellam Kettupar’ in 1999. Both were not big stars at that time. On the other hand, growing up in Mumbai, Jyotika didn’t know much about Tamil. Later, I learned the Tamil language for acting in movies. The actress’s dedication to work, her dialogue delivery style, and her co-workers are very appealing to Vinay Suriya.
