Four houses were burned to ashes in Rangunia

Rangunia Correspondent: In Rangunia, four residential houses have been burned by a terrible fire. On Tuesday, January 2, at around 1.30 a.m., the fire took place in Ward No. 2, South Noagaon area of Rangunia Municipality.

On receiving information, the fire service personnel rushed to the spot and brought the fire under control. They said the fire started from an electrical short circuit.

Local Municipal Councilor Nurul Abshar Jasim said that at around 1:30 AM, a fire suddenly broke out from an electric meter in the living room of Bacha Maulvi’s house in the ward and spread throughout the house. Four residential houses owned by local widows, Khursida Begum and Alkuma Begum, Lalu Mia, and Osman Gani, were burned to ashes. They couldn’t figure anything out.

They have suffered a loss of at least 15 lakh takas. When the fire service was informed, they came together with the locals and brought the fire under control. The victims are very poor. He called upon the people of society to come forward with their help.
