Chakaria Correspondent: Four people were killed in a head-on collision between Laguna and Picnic buses in the Harbang area of Chakaria on Cox’s Bazar-Chittagong highway.
OC Mahbubul Haque and in-charge Khokon Kanti Rudra of the Chakaria-Chiringa Highway police station confirmed the matter on Thursday (December 28) around 8:30 a.m. Initial reports indicated that 7-8 people were injured in this incident.
According to sources, the passenger bus leaving from Gazipur was coming towards Cox’s Bazar. The pickup van was going towards Chittagong. The names of the deceased could not be ascertained until the writing of this report.
