Nagar Reporter: 152 candidates have failed and passed the re-checking of the answer sheet for the Chittagong Education Board’s 2023 HSC examination in the results published yesterday. The Chittagong Education Board re-inspection results were published on Tuesday. In the result, 79 students who did not get a GPA of 5 earlier got a GPA of 5.
Professor AMM Mujibur Rahman, Controller of Examinations of the Chittagong Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board, said that applications were submitted for re-checking the answer sheets from December 27 to December 3. 272 students applied for re-checking of their answer sheets. Out of this, 887 marks obtained have been changed. 152 passed from fail. 79 students who got a GPA of 5 from 4 to 4.99 got a grade change.
On November 26, the results of the HSC examination were declared across the country. According to the information provided by the Education Board, 1 lakh 1 thousand 248 students from 279 colleges participated in the HSC examination held in 2023. 75 thousand 903 passed. The number of exam attendees is 1 lakh 1 thousand 949 people. After re-checking the answer sheet, the pass rate is 74.45 percent. Female students are leading in pass rate and GPA.
