Entertainment Desk: Bollywood king Shah Rukh Khan is starring in the popular movie ‘Dunky’. It was released worldwide on December 21. This movie, produced by Rajkumar Hirani, is showing on more than 4000 screens in India.
From the first hour of its release, ‘Dunky’ has been garnering rave reviews from the audience. However, this movie was ranked 23rd on the list of highest-grossing Hindi movies in India on its first day of release. Shahrukh starrer ‘Jawaan’ (Rs 65.5 crore) and ‘Pathan’ (Rs 55 crore) topped the list. That is, Shahrukh could not break the record of his own movie. Since then, the income from the movie has been going up and down at the box office.
According to Boli Movie Reviews.com, ‘Dunky’ earned Rs 29.2 crore on the first day of release in India alone, Rs 20 crore on the second day, Rs 24.3 crore on the third day, Rs 29 crore on the fourth day, Rs 29 crore on the fifth day, and Rs. Earned Rs 20.5 crore. The movie grossed Rs. 123 crore in five days in India. The film grossed Rs 211.13 crore worldwide. More than 278 crore (86 lakh rupees) in Bangladeshi currency.
According to data from Sacknilk.com, ‘Dunky’ has earned Rs 127 crore in India alone. And earned 206 crores worldwide.
Rajkumar Hirani worked with Shah Rukh for the first time in the movie ‘Dunky’. The movie also stars Taapsee Pannu, Dia Mirza, Boman Irani, and others. The cost of making the movie is 200 crore rupees.
