Dhaka Bureau: Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina is going to visit Sylhet on Wednesday (December 20). All preparations have already been completed in Sylhet for the Prime Minister’s visit. To welcome Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, the daughter of the father of the nation, the entire city of Sylhet, including the important points and roads of the city, has been decorated with new decorations.
Especially Bandar Bazar, Chowhatta, Rikabibazar, Lamabazar, Surma Point, Taltala, Dargah Gate, Amberkhana, and the airport roads of the city are being renovated. Besides, ornamental flowers are being planted at important points in Sylhet around the Prime Minister’s visit. Prime Minister’s Public Hall Sylhet city’s historical Aliya Madrasah ground has been prepared. The stage construction work has also been completed. Jansabhashal has been prepared following the electoral code of conduct. Historic Colorready mics have been installed in public meetings.
In front of the stage, a strong fence has been built with bamboo. Sylhet district and the metropolitan Awami League are supervising these works. The Mayor of Sylhet City Corporation, Anwaruzzaman Chowdhury, is fully cooperating with Ekaje. Awami League President and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will officially start the party’s election campaign from Sylhet on Wednesday (December 20) after the allocation of symbols for the 12th National Assembly elections. During his visit to Sylhet, Prime Minister Olikul Shiromani will visit the shrines of Hazrat Shahjalal (RA) and Hazrat Shahparan (RA). In the afternoon, Sylhet will attend the election public meeting organized by the Awami League at Aliya Madrasah Ground.
Awami League president Sheikh Hasina started campaigning from Sylhet even before the national parliament elections. At that time, he started his election tour by visiting the shrine of Hazrat Shahjalal (RA) and rallying in Sylhet.

Sylhet city has been decorated in a new way around the Prime Minister’s visit. He expressed optimism that hundreds of thousands of people will gather at the Aliya Madrasa grounds.
