Dhaka Bureau: Miscreants set fire to a transport bus in the capital’s Gulistan. The fire service sent two units to the spot to control the fire.
Confirming the matter, the duty officer of the fire service headquarters, Lima Khanam, said that at 9:58 in the morning, they received information about setting fire to a vehicle transport bus. Two units of the fire service were sent to the spot on that news. The fire was extinguished by 10:00.
Earlier on Monday (December 12), miscreants set fire to various public transports in the capital from noon to night. Locals caught two people red-handed in Mohammadpur while setting fire to a bus at night. The police said that he is a youth worker. There have been reports of vehicles being set on fire outside Dhaka as well.
It should be noted that the 36-hour blockade called by BNP-Jamaat and like-minded parties is going on. The program started at 6 a.m. on Tuesday, December 12. Which runs until 6 p.m. on Wednesday (December 13).
