Dhaka Bureau: One more person died in the explosion at the Royal Filling Station in Mohakhali, the capital. His name is Md. Salahuddin (38). With this, the number of deaths increased to two. He died in the intensive care unit (ICU) of the Sheikh Hasina National Institute of Burn and Plastic Surgery on Sunday (December 10) around 10:15 p.m.
Sheikh Hasina National Institute of Burn and Plastic Surgery resident doctor Dr. Tariqul Islam confirmed the matter and told the media that eight people were admitted to the burn institute from Mohakhali. Another one named Salahuddin died under treatment at around 10:15 PM. 65 percent of his body was burned. He was on life support in the ICU.
Earlier, engineer Khair Ghazi (44) died while undergoing treatment in the ICU of the Sheikh Hasina National Institute of Burn and Plastic Surgery at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, December 7.
It is to be noted that on December 6, around 8:30 p.m., there was an explosion at the Royal Filling Station opposite the Mohakhali Bus Terminal. Eight people were burned. In this incident, one person was released with first aid, but five people are still receiving treatment. Their condition is critical.
