The International Anti-Corruption Day was celebrated on Saturday, December 9, in Lohagara Upazila, South Chittagong. Lohagara upazila administration and upazila anti-corruption committee, with the support of the anti-corruption commission (DUDAC), held a discussion on this day in the Lohagara upazila conference room.

In the meeting chaired by Member Secretary of the Upazila Anti-Corruption Committee, Mahbubur Rahman, the speakers said that it is not possible to eradicate corruption without moral education and mental development. Corruption will be reduced to a great extent if everyone performs their duties properly. Upazila secondary education officer Nurul Islam, journalist Pushpen Chowdhury, engineer SM Javed Karim, professor journalist Abdul Khalek, and teacher Sapna Devi spoke among others in the meeting.
