Coast Guard rescued 44 tourists from the middle of the sea

Cox’s Bazar Correspondent: Tourist ship ‘MV Green Line-1’ bound for Saint Martin from Teknaf got stuck in Shahpari island in Teknaf. This incident happened on Sunday (December 10) afternoon.

The media officer of the Coast Guard Headquarters said that the Coast Guard is conducting an operation to rescue the stranded passengers. Colonel Commander Khandaker Munif Tauki said that the Coast Guard conducted a rescue operation after receiving information that 44 tourists were stranded. They were brought to Saint Martin. Many tourists were terrified. They are being treated.

Chairman of St. Martin’s Union. Mujibur Rahman said the stranded tourists reached St. Martin with the help of the Coast Guard. They have been treated.

Teknaf upazila executive officer. Adnan Chowdhury said that the stranded tourists have been rescued. They are all fine.
