A Pakistani young woman in Habiganj is looking for a husband

Habiganj correspondent: Maha Bajoar (30) came to Chunarughat in Habiganj in search of her husband. She is the daughter of Maqsood Ahmed, a resident of Lahore, Pakistan.

Mahar’s husband’s name is Sajjad Hossain Majumdar (35). He is the son of Shafi Ulla Majumdar of the North Barail area of the Chunarughat municipality of Habiganj. Maha came to Habiganj on Friday in search of her husband and stayed at her husband’s brother’s house. Meanwhile, on the news of the foreign bride’s arrival, eager people from the surrounding areas are crowding the house.

It is known that 10 years ago, Sajjad met Pakistani Maha in Dubai. Later, they got married. But at one stage, Sajjad divorced Maha. But Maha did not accept that divorce. She wants to live with her husband. Because of this, Maha came to Bangladesh from Pakistan on November 17. On Friday night, he went to Sajjad’s house in North Barail village.

Sajjad’s brother, Swapan Majumdar, said that Sajjad married the Pakistani girl in Lahore, Pakistan, in 2014. After that, Sajjad brought him to Bangladesh and later went back to Pakistan. Sajjad returned home on November 17; Mahao returned to Bangladesh on the same day.

In this regard, Sajjad’s brother Swapan said that Sajjad used to work in a nightclub in Dubai. There, he met Maha. Later, they got married. At one stage, their family broke up. When Sajjad returned home, Maha also came to Bangladesh. At the moment, Sajjad is not present at home. When he comes, the issue will be resolved by sitting with the dignitaries of the area.

Swapan also said that the Pakistani woman is currently in his hospitality.

An official of Habiganj District Police said that Maha and Sajjad divorced in 2018. But Maha does not accept it. She wants to live with her husband.

In this regard, Rashedul Haque, OC of Chunarughat police station, said that Maha came to Bangladesh with a visa. But he did not follow the rules required for the position in this country. The woman came to the police station and left, saying she would come back later.
