Dhaka Bureau: The foreign minister of Bangladesh said that the thank-you letter sent to the United Nations should not have been printed in the media, and those who are printing it have behaved like enemies of the country. AK Abdul Momen. He said that such letters are given every year after the UN visit. It is purely personal. How it is printed in the media is not understandable.
He said this in response to questions from journalists at an event on a personal visit to Sylhet on Friday (December 8) evening.
Regarding the letter sent to the United Nations, the minister said, We went to the United Nations in September. At that time, he met many people. We have a custom of giving a thank-you note to those we interact with and meet. That happened this time too.
He said, besides thanking us, that the matters discussed by us were mentioned in the letter, which is a private letter. And it was published by a newspaper. It is a great shame.
In response to a question about the ban on the clothing sector, Abdul Momen said, “I don’t have any such information.” Some misguided people are trying to create panic by saying these things to disrupt the elections.
