Entertainment desk: Telugu superstar Mahesh Babu lost his mother on September 28. Mahesh lost his brother Ramesh a few months before his mother died. Now the father is gone.
Mahesh Babu’s father, Ghattamaneni Shiva Rama Krishna Murthy, the legendary star of southern cinema, breathed his last in the wee hours of Tuesday (November 15). He was 80 at the time of his death.
According to Indian media reports, Mahesh Babu’s father was physically ill for the past few days. He was admitted to the hospital on Monday (November 14) due to heart attack.
Incidentally, Ghattamaneni Shiva Rama Krishna Murthy started his career in cinema five decades ago. He is popularly known as Shiva. This actor has acted in more than 350 films. Apart from acting, he also produced and directed. Shiva was awarded Padma Bhushan, India’s third highest civilian award in 2009.
