Dhaka Bureau: Awami League General Secretary Obaidul Quader has indicated that he will not join the alliance if it is not necessary in the 12th National Assembly elections. He said we are not thinking about the alliance partners for nomination. No decision has been made on this yet. not an alliance unless necessary.
He said this while leaving the political office of Awami League President Dhanmondi on Saturday (November 25) afternoon in response to questions from reporters.
Obaidul Quader said the issue of alliances comes only when there is a big alliance against us. Moreover, why do we join unnecessarily? If there is no need, then there is no need to join. Those with whom I will make an alliance will be accepted by the people.
Referring to the Awami League’s nomination of new and old people, Kader said, “Where the old people have lost acceptance with the people, we have to think anew.” so that we get electable candidates. We will see who will be more acceptable to the people if nominated. I will nominate him.
