Dhaka Bureau: Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina said that the politics of killing started in this country only after the killing of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman. He said this at the beginning of the Awami League Parliamentary Nomination Board meeting on Thursday (November 23).
The Prime Minister said that after that murder, people’s right to vote was taken away, and the right to democracy was taken away.
He said that the Bangladesh Awami League has been struggling since its inception to realize the rights of the people. And many leaders and activists of the Awami League gave their lives to establish rights.
Before this, the meeting of the Parliamentary Nomination Board started at the Tejgaon office of the Dhaka District Awami League at 10:10 a.m. Nomination Board President Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina is presiding over the meeting.
