Dhaka Bureau: Trinamool BNP leaders held a meeting with Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina. The two-hour-long meeting with the Prime Minister was held at Ganabhaban on Sunday (November 20). The party’s general secretary, Taimur Alam Khandkar, confirmed the matter and said, “We have met the Prime Minister.”
When asked about the content of the discussion, Taimur said, “It is a state matter.” I can’t say anything. Find out from there (from the Prime Minister’s Office) about the content of the discussion.’
Earlier, Trinamool BNP General Secretary Taimur Alam Khandkar said that the election will be held jointly in 300 seats. He said we would conduct elections in 300 constituencies in an alliance. Many groups are contacting us. We will form the government through elections by forming a strong alliance. And if we can’t, we will be the main opposition party.
Timur Alam said, ‘We are getting a huge response in the distribution of nomination forms. Former members of parliament, mayors, the current upazila chairman, and leaders of various political parties have collected forms of the Trinamool BNP. They think Trinamool BNP has a massive response from the people and will do well in the elections.
Note that Trinamool BNP has started selling nomination forms to party candidates for the upcoming 12th National Assembly elections. The team has sold a total of 78 forms in the last two days. The party’s nomination form sale will continue until November 25.
