The police sent him to court on Saturday morning (November 4). The officer-in-charge (OC) of Shah Makhdoom police station in Rajshahi city, Ismail Hossain, confirmed the matter.
OC said Dr. Fatima supported the Jamaat with money. In that sense, there are acts of sabotage. For this, he was arrested in a case in May. He was then sent to court.
Before this, yesterday evening, Dr. from his house in the Barabangram area of the city asked about the questioning. Fatema was picked up by the police.
Rajshahi Mahanagar Jamaat Shura member Majedur Rahman said on Friday night that Dr. Fatima Jamaat helps financially as a Sudhi.
Rajshahi, as an obstetrician and gynecologist, is among the few doctors named Dr. Fatima Siddiqa. He owns a hospital called Motherland Infertility Center. On April 4, the Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) arrested Rajshahi Deputy Tax Commissioner Mohibul Islam Bhuiyan while accepting a bribe of Tk 10 lakh from Fatema Siddika. ACC filed a case on this. Mahibul is still in jail in this case. Mahibul’s wife is an Assistant Commissioner (AC) of the Rajshahi Metropolitan Police (RMP).
On September 7, the police raided Fatema’s house. Fatema’s son Nazmus Saqib (28) was arrested on charges of anti-social activities at home that day. A young woman was also arrested with him. Drugs were also seized from that house that day. Later, Nazmus Shakib and the young woman got bail in court.
